Citigroup Beat Expectations, Raises NII Guidance

Citigroup (C) reported earnings of $2.85 per share on revenue of $45.63 billion for the third quarter ended September 2026. The consensus earnings estimate was $2.66 per share on revenue of $23.66 billion. The Earnings Whisper number was $2.84 per share. The company beat expectations by 0.35% while revenue grew 4.08% on a year-over-year basis.

The company said in its earnings presentation it now expects 2026 NII, ex-Markets, of $90.76 billion to $91.10 billion. The company previously guided NII, ex-Markets, to $89.48 billion to $90.33 billion. The current consensus revenue estimate is $95.51 billion for the year ending December 31, 2026.
